Andrea Campian earned her Bachelors of Science at Michigan State University and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences San Diego where she focused on manual orthopedic therapy. She has had success treating an entire spectrum of neuro-musculoskeletal injuries.
Andrea is no stranger to the patient side of physical therapy. She has successfully returned to running ultramarathons, skiing, and rock climbing after surgery for a ruptured disc in her low back. This experience led her to do extensive work with the Institute of Physical Art, a post-professional continuing education tract which focuses on Functional Manual Therapy. Andrea uses this advanced education to couple treatment of the joints, soft tissues, visceral, and neurovascular systems with manual neuromuscular treatment to optimize body mechanics and function.
Andrea takes pride in keeping each therapy session new and motivating. As an athlete herself she has a great appreciation for keeping the body functional and pain-free: whether that’s recreational activities, competitive sports, or just getting back to independent life.
